Queer Spirit is always striving to become one of the top most accessible queer festivals in the UK!
We are not (and never will be) The Most Accessible To Everyone. However, we have a proven track record of listening to feedback and making improvements whenever possible.
In 2024 your Head of Accessibility was Quill (and most likely will be again in 2025), a person with first and second hand personal, as well as academic and professional, experience in this area. You can communicate with him here on the QS Social Network, or at access@queerspirit.net. Please be patient in awaiting responses, as both technical and biological barriers exist, but you will get a response!
One of the things that makes our festival so welcoming to this with disabilities is our Welfare team (in 2024 headed by Samisi) who provide a quiet space and experienced space-holders for anyone who needs immediate support. We also have an amazingly professional and competent First Aid provider for more serious incidents.
This Group exists as a space where you can find out more about Accessibility and Welfare at Queer Spirit Festival, whether you are planning on coming along to the next one, or sharing experiences from previous years. Please be mindful of your privacy when sharing personal information online.
We look forward to making this one of your best festival experiences, no matter what your physical, neurological, or spiritual challenges out there in the mundane world!
