Emerging energy

The energy starts to emerge...
On a slightly wet and overcast day at the start of May we went to visit a potential venue that we thought may be just right for our vision of a summer festival for 2016.

Although the weather was a bit grey and the air full of drizzle, the site still had a magical feel to it. Just walking about you could feel the potential to create a magical festival. The wind and rain helped connect to the elements and the trees seemed to be smiling with joy at the idea of hundreds of queers filling the site soon!

Later, at the summer solstice, we again gathered to celebrate the start of summer and also we took time to connect with the energy around the Queer Spirit festival.

We shared both energy and practicalities and set some focus on creating the awareness of what is going to happen next year at this amazing event!
