We know you have been waiting patiently for news of plans for the next Queer Spirit Festival – finally, here it is:
The next Queer Spirit is planned for SUMMER 2023.

Since last August a team of two dozen organisers have been meeting, talking and seeking to find the perfect spot for the fourth manifestation of the festival. From Wales to Kent we have followed leads but, due to various complications, the stars have simply not aligned for us this year.

So we would like to make this summer a stepping stone towards the next Queer Spirit by proposing that fans of the festival engage in reconnecting and building our connections to each other wherever there's a chance. One way we can do this is by setting up queer spirit camping enclaves at other festivals we attend – these camps can be announced and coordinated via the Queer Spirit Social section of the website. If you are planning to go to any summer camp or festival and wish to let other queer spirits know you can set up a group page on the site for them to join.

One such opportunity to look out for, which will definitely be full of queer magic and marvel, is a new event called Arcadia, taking place near Glastonbury, 11^th to 15^th August this year. Many of the Queer Spirit organising crew are planning to be there. We will mail out more information on Arcadia and other festivals that queer spirits undertake to head to as soon as it is available.

At the 2019 Festival, we dedicated our group ritual to building networks of support, both physical and spiritual, in advance of the much anticipated Saturn-Pluto conjunction of January 2020, which was regarded by astrologers as a massive 'reset' of human consciousness. Two years later the world is still reeling from the shock and the reset develops. Hang in there folks!

In the world today we are seeing the old thinking, the outworn paradigm of conflict and domination, fighting for its survival against a tide of awakening consciousness, love and drive for liberation. Queer Spirits as we well know have a role to play in this transformation. As we each heal and grow into the fullness, joy and beauty of who we are, we help the global queer community gradually find its strength, its confidence and its spirit.

The Queer Spirit team wish all a healthy and uplifting 2022 and is looking forward to building the connections and energy for a grand reunion of magical souls at Queer Spirit Festival in 2023.
